How to Deal with Consultations from Women

It is often said that women seek empathy, not solutions. The idea is that when they are consulting with others, they already have the answer in their mind and expect a response that supports that answer.

This depends on the person. There are certainly women who have the aforementioned idea, but there are also women who need specific solutions to their problems.

So, when a woman asks for advice, how should you respond?

The answer is to shut up and listen. If you listen for a while, you will know which type of person you are talking to.

If the woman is truly seeking a solution, you may offer your advice or opinion on the issue. Otherwise, do not give unnecessary advice.

Some women also organize their thoughts and feelings by verbalizing the inner turmoil that has arisen within them. Such people can be frustrating because their speech is incoherent and elusive, but if you shut up and listen to them, it will eventually subside. In some cases, they may even thank you for listening to them.

When a woman asks for advice, it is important to understand what she is looking for before responding appropriately.
