Even if you meet someone nice at school, work, or other places where you meet people, you may think that you are ugly and will probably be rejected even if you confess your feelings. However, among couples walking intimately on the street, there are also combinations of beautiful and ugly people. Why could they, who are ugly, date beautiful men and women?
There are two reasons.
The first reason is that the standard of beauty varies from person to person. Someone whom you or I may consider ugly may appear beautiful to the person with whom we are dating. Therefore, you should let the other person evaluate your appearance, not yourself.
The second reason is that you are attracted to factors other than your appearance. For example, they decide whether or not to go out with you based on a comprehensive evaluation of various factors, such as having similar values to yours, being kind to you, and having financial power.
When a beautiful man or woman appears in front of you, don’t give up and say, “I can’t do it,” but give it a try. If your presence matches their tastes, it is not impossible to have a relationship with them. Even if you are rejected, you will not be hurt by a broken heart because you are just not to their liking.
